Nice words about Tom Taylor's writing

"...keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. A masterful piece of suspense writing that takes one unexpected turn after another yet has an emotional honesty that's inevitable and compelling."

- Sally Cragin, Arts Writer, Boston Globe and Boston Phoenix

"A great script. A great commentary of civil disobedience… the language, the observation, the writing is so evocative…”

- RRR FM Radio

“satirises fundamentalist religions’ justifications of atrocity… with a teddy bear. And will leave you looking for more of the work of this very funny and talented writer.”

- Armidale Express

the funniest play of the night and without doubt one of the highlights overall.”

– TheatreAus

"...a skilfully executed commentary on instilled modern paranoia in a brief case of racism at a train station".

- Media and Culture

“…alludes to our impact on earth and our lack of vision in dealing with problems....a sharp script from successful playwright Tom Taylor... absorbing and entertaining.”

- The Pun

“Mind Expanding.”

- RRR

“social satire for the Noughties”

- The Herald Sun

“hilarious… easily the crowd favourite... operating in another dimension all together.”

- Stagenoise

Short and Sweet

My new short play 'Protest' has been selected for the top 30 for Short and Sweet at the Melbourne Arts Centre. It was chosen from an international entry of 1148 plays.

And last week I won the Peoples' Choice and Judges Choice awards at the October Crash Test Drama for another new play 'A Short Play for a Competition' which means it will be produced later in the year.
